This is a shabby chic curtain I was working on for the girls new bedroom. I found this Laura Ashley shower curtain at Target. I loved the fabric and it's cotton/linen so I bought it to hang as a curtain. The ceiling are high in this old house so I added pink gingham to the bottom. I also cut the curtain in half to make two panels...so I got two curtains for the price of one :)

The curtain rods were an ugly rust color that I spray-painted white! Gotta love spray-paint! :) Well, I do anyway! :)
Viola!!! I think I may add sheers for the middle or battenburg lace, something...any ideas? So there's my shabby chic curtains.... Today my "stuff" arrived. Feels like Christmas after being in storage for 7 months!!!!!!!! :) So I will post more pics of this shabby chic room as I put things together!

Love it....the ruffles remind me of little baby bloomers! WOW...amazing what spray paint will do!!!

Keep an eye out for the battenburg..it's expensive...maybe you can find it in another source like the "shower" curtain! and it too will be ready to hang. Maybe Martha Stewart has one at Kmart?

So glad the "Stuff" arrived...now it'll really feel like HOME now.

Hugs..
