I’m so excited to share my ceremony photos with you! Everything pretty much turned out exactly as I had pictured in my lil head…that’s always so nice when that happens! :) I t was indeed a work of art and the magic of a million bobby pins to get my long hair in this “do”.
I walked down to “ Love of my life” by Jim Brickman.
My girls walked down to “ What a wonderful world” Louis Armstrong.
My DJ and singer sang, “We belong together” by Richie Valens
We walked down together to “A kiss to build a dream on” by Louis Armstrong.
We danced to “When God Made You”by Newsong!
I strived to incorporated the whole 4th of july/old-fashioned homecoming feel of the 40’s-50’s and I really felt it that day!
I tried to add a lot of elements that were a part of our life while he was deployed…I’m holding a letter he wrote to me in the photo above. Yes, I saved ALL of them…I read them many many times over at night when I needed to “hear” from him! They carried me through a lot of dark, lonely nights of deployment!
My girls, my girls…..I couldn’t have done it without their help! And Jess….thank you! I’m sorry you couldn’t be there…and Angie…I missed you…..Hollybeth…I missed you too! Thank you Carrie Baker for you know! ;)Thank you girls for everything you did to make my day so special….it truly was even more meaningful knowing you guys were there and you were there for me this past year during deployment!
Check out their homemade bow ties and paper pinwheels.
Whew….that’s a lot of uploading….I shall post photos soon of the decor…I’ll save that for another long post. Haha. Thank you so much! I’d love to hear from you!
