In celebration of Earth Day, we went downtown to visit the
local government office where they were holding boths put
by the forest rangers. The kids loved the reptiles. They
were each given a tree to plant and some wildflowers.
We live on post so we can't plant the tree by our house.
We went to visit some friends who own 200 acres on a beautiful
farm and we planted them there....by the windmills!
Smoky the Bear...make sure your campfire is put out, before
you leave :)
Little girl planted her Spruce tree.
Dropped my oldest son off with his friends and they were
target practicing for their Turkey Hunt tomorrow!
Where there's a barn there's a cat!
Lovin' the 4-wheeler rides!
I think Lowie has claimed the Recycle box!
I try to teach my children to appreciate the beauty around us
God has richly blessed us with,by taking care of our environment
around us and when we are camping or hiking on the trails.
If people didn't, we would not enjoy the beautiful waterfalls,
hikes in the mountains, swamps and beaches, even the highways
through deserts and oceans.
We do our part by picking up litter when we're hiking
or camping, stick to the trails and tent pads, recycle,
repurpose, and reuse as much as we can.
