Happy New Year!!!
I've decided this year I'm not going to make any new year's resolutions....I'm going to take one day at a time and make daily resolutions!!!
I think Paul the Apostle was correct in saying, "I die daily"...I think he knew how foolish it was to say I'm going do this or that whether it was a decision to the betterment of his soul or physical body....it is apparent that we fail miserably and life happens. I'd rather not bite off more than I can chew. Rather than chunk a whole year over a mistake or bad decision, I'd rather wake up refreshed and ready to start a new day with no mistakes in it (Anne Shirley said that one)...
As it is, we are not promised tomorrow....so let's make the most of today and live like tomorrow may never come! That's my motto for 2011. Each day is a gift...it is precious...it can never be done over...or given back. I don't want to waste time... I don't want to look back and be disappointed with yesterday.
Isn't wonderful and exciting that God created a tomorrow??? Suppose a day went on for years! I'm thankful for each day...I'm thankful for the tomorrows too.
Wishing you all a wonderful, happy year!
